On Saturday, June 22, the museum will welcome historian and reenactor Michael Welch for “Revolutionary Story Time,” part of the museum’s 2019 series of family-friendly programming.

Revolutionary Story Time on will begin at 10:00am, and is best suited for children in grades PreK-2.  Kids will meet a colonial reenactor and listen to him tell an exciting historical story.  After the story, kids will complete a craft related to their experience.  This program is part of the museum’s 2019 living history series, offered bi-monthly April-October.  Presenter Mike Welch, a former teacher, is a member of the reenacting group Glover’s Marblehead Regiment, and has presented educational programs at museums across northern New England.

The program is free and open to the public, but space is limited and reservations are requested.  Contact 978-462-2681 or info@newburyhistory.org to reserve your space.  The museum’s programming is sponsored in part by the Institution for Savings.
