Newburyport historian Ghlee Woodworth will discuss the past and present of many favorite spots around town.  With photos and stories, Ghlee will point out similarities and differences in how Newburyporters have experienced their hometown over the past several decades.

This program is part of Mid-day History at the HIST, a series of talks designed to offer a refreshing twist to your typical lunch hour.  Bring your lunch, get away from  your desk or out of your house for a bit, and learn something new about your community.
